The 3rd XI joined the Surrey Championship for the first time in 1989, until withdrawing after the 1996 season. There was then a 25 year break playing friendly cricket only before re-entering the Championship in 2021.

In 2025 several of the Surrey leagues merged to form the Surrey Cricket Championship.

Our highest ever finish is 9th in Old Division 1 in 1991, which was the top 3rd XI division in Surrey at the time.
