As part of the club's transition from "Bank of England CC" to "West Wimbledon CC", we have sought to redesign our existing logo as we enter a new era.
To help achieve this we have been fortunate to partner with WildPigs, an internationally recognised sports branding agency.
During the process we have been keen to acknowledge our history as part of the BOE family. Our existing logo features Britannia, the female representation of Great Britain and part of the visual identity of the BOE, plus the now defunct BOE Sports Club. However, whilst we want an ongoing link to the past, we also want this new logo to represent a fresh beginning for the club.
The new image uses our club colours in a reimagined way, with a modern twist on the Britannia character that retains classical elements. This recognises our heritage, but with a fresh feel for the future. Strong branding is essential to stand out and attract attention, and we believe this is a fantastic start in forming our own new visual identity.
